According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Scarlett Johansson will play femme fatale Silk N. Floss in the Frank Miller-directed Will Eisner adaptation. She joins Gabriel Macht in the title role and Samuel L. Jackson, who plays The Octopus.
HEROES
The Hollywood Reporter also noted that "Bratz" actress Janel Parrish has landed a multi-episode arc on the hit NBC series. Parrish will play May, the head cheerleader at the new school that Claire (Hayden Panettiere) attends.

Bunked ... aaaaand debunked. Sure, IGN had a good run, quoting that bastion of journalistic integrity Star Magazine, and their claim that Katie Holmes was heading for Themiscira. But the team at IESB sat everyone down for a good talk, and refute all that hullaballoo, claiming that the live action "Justice League" movie has put the invisible plane in mothballs.
DOCTOR STRANGE
The IESB was busy today -- they also claim that a live action movie about the Sorcerer Supreme is being pitched to potential directors.
WATCHMEN
Shock Till You Drop talked to composer Tyler Bates about bringing the much ballyhooed superhero classic to the silver screen. "Well, I'm not a comic guy, but of course I read it when I knew he was making it, but not until '300' was done and not until he asked me to do it. I thought it was really great. I love the characters and I love Rorschach, and they just sent me the script a couple weeks ago and I read it and thought, 'Wow, this is a fantastic adaptation of this book.' I didn't know how they could possibly condense that book, but you know what, people thought that about '300' as well. There were people trying to make '300' and there were several versions floating around town and they couldn't make it."
