BUY MY BOOK'S guest columnist this week is Joe Casey!

Kirkman's a pimp.

You wouldn't know it from the way he dresses, but he's a straight up pimpin' machine. How else could he move so many copies of his Image books? He's also busy as hell these days, selling out to the man on books like "Marvel Team-Up" and "Ultimate X-Men" and... well, I'm sure he's got other stuff going on.

In any case, I'm stepping in for a week. Flyin' solo once again. In other words, this column is, as they say, sans Fraction. Anyway, what would Fraction be doing around these parts anyway? This ain't THE BASEMENT TAPES. This is BUY MY BOOKS.

And, in my spirit of my favorite editions of Kirkman's on-again, off-again column... I'm gonna' post a whole slew of pages from upcoming books. Hey, it's the thing to do around here, isn't it...?

A quick word before we get to the good stuff. I'm pretty blessed right now, working some top notch artistic talent. It's one of the greatest pleasures of this job to collaborate with artists that I was already a huge fan of, even before they agreed to make funnybooks with me. And, of course, consider what these talents are working on, all in the name of entertaining the superhero-loving masses...

... you've got the gloriously twisted Frazer Irving doing full color work on IRON MAN: THE INEVITABLE. You've got the brilliant Chris Weston, drawing his ass off on the upcoming FF: FIRST FAMILY (trust me, the man has no ass). And, last but never least, my co-conspirator, the great Tom Scioli kickin' it cosmic every month in the pages of our Image Comics monthly series, GØDLAND (aided and abetted by our cool new colorist, Nick Filardi).

Just feast your eyes on the quality of work these guys are doing. I'm a lucky bastard.

"Iron Man: The Inevitable"

"Fantastic Four: First Family"

>

"GØDLAND"

Hopefully, when you see any or all of these books on the stands, you'll bust out the money clips and... well, do I really have to say it...?
